Some adventure stories can also be a mystery, or filled with horror, or even a love story. Some adventure stories are set in the past and are called an historical fiction, while others are true stories. Check below to look at some titles of adventure stories. is the secrets of droon a adventure?
Hello Lauren, Yes I think the Secrets of Droon Series is an adventure/fantasy. Some books have a bit of both kinds of genres (adventure, historical fiction, mystery etc) in one. Did your teacher give you any specific instructions for the book report?

Hello Eleanor! Thanks for writing, Yes I absolutely think that both 39 clues and the Red Pyramid books are adventure books. Remember that an adventure story usually is exciting that has the characters engage in a risky undertaking. There is usually also lots of action involved. I think that those two books are good example of Adventure story's.

Hey Olivia,
Thanks for letting me know about the poetry project. I posted a book list that is filled with books with poems all on a certain topic, and some books of poetry of famous poets, I also listed a few books that are novels told in verse. The books in verse are really interesting because they are filled with poems but are a telling a story as you would find in a regular j fiction; just the format is different. Has your teacher given you specific instructions for the kind of book of poetry you must choose? Or is it just a poem? I put the books in verse on the list anyways. :) The library is closed on Thanksgiving, but will be open the next day, Friday and Saturday. Huckleberry Finn has a very good ending, things work out and Huck ends up pretty happy. Did you start reading it? It has a good ending so you should finish it if you have the time. ;) Let me know if you need any other help and please come into the library if you want help with choosing a book. :)

Hi Olivia,
Yes we have some great books on the subject of multiculturalism. Most of the stories have to do with friends being from different backgrounds or maybe being the new kid in school while being from a very different culture. There are a lot of different books to choose from. I posted a book list, but if it seems too long then come into the library for a look. We have put the multicultural books on a cart for you guys to browse through. Thanks for the question! :)

Are you looking for another multicultural book? Or are you looking for the next book in a certain series? Or are you looking for book titles for the next book report genre? I think the next genre you are doing is auto/biography. For that its really a matter of choosing a person. How was the book fair? I bet you found a lot of great books. :)
